What I think of education in Chile

The education in Chile is a very complex theme, for my part, I believe that actually the education in our country is a real flop in so far as is not a system  that improve the social welfare and the life of  each of us. I think that because the organization of education in all his levels it depends of the market laws. 

I believe that the school is an opportunity not only for learn math, science or language, but for grow in community, interact whit all kind of people and learn that there is more than our eyes can see. In this sense, our education, under the market laws, it handless of make sure school for poor people, rich people and middle class, so that the pupils grow in a bubble  that restrict the perspective whit  a person could see and think  the  society. In this logic, we can forget that the education for rich (generally) has a very good quality compared whit the other two kind of education, question that if you add to the limits that impose the PSU, it restrict the opportunities that the people whit  worst education have for improve their social condition.

I think that a reform in our “system” education needs a deep reflection around the society that we have. Maybe we can design a system that operate very good form people that improve our PIB, but is necessary that our education system help us to grow like a community, more than that rise our production and our PIB (an of course the consumption), respect all kind of life and all kind of people.

Finally I want to say that I, despite write all these words of change, can’t imagine the society that I dream, the problem I so complex and the education is only a little part of this.

Manal Al Shariff and Liberty, a double-edged sword

On the video we can see to Manal Al Shariff, a woman from Arabia Saudita, who explain about her experience in a society whit tradicion and behavior very chauvinistic. More specific, she talk about her attempt to drive (A forbidden thing in this country) in the street and the problem that meaned it to her, in so far as she happened some days in prision, she was defamed by newspaper and constantly threatened (She and her family) by stranger people.

Finally she tell to the public that her action inspiring to many women in the world whit the same condition and inspiring to herself for converted in an activisit for the women`s right in Arabia Saudita. Her campaign about women driven, diverted in undermine the prohibition of women driving and an increase of women politician.

I think that the fight of Manal Al Shariff for achieve the same rights between men and women is admirable, and I support her campaign about the emancipation of women in chauvinistic society like Arabia Saudita`s society. However I believe that this kind of campaign could be a double-edged sword, because, is truth that in Arabia the Islam is the way and the bases by the authorities impose a chauvinistic society, BUT, is truth too that this is only a branch of the Islam (Wahaabismo) that characterized to be fundamentalist and that was sponsored by USA and Britain government for kept and archaic society that allow the intervention of this countries in the administration of oil resources, the same things happened when in Siria and Irak were being established governments bounded to Shi`itas (A progressive branch of Islam). So, I think that this kind of campaign could hide the evil interest of some countries behind the “fight for liberty”.

The movie is a kind of prediction about our human life and their relation with the world if we continuous our pace of life. In the film, principally, expound the irresponsibility of human in the use of no-renewable source like oil and the consequences if the leader of the world not-congregate their willpower change the world.

Personally, I think that the movie is not good, in fact, I bored a lot seeing it. I believe it, because the movie for me is like an attempt of exultation of all natural sins that United Estate has committed in the world. The experts that appear in the film seems forget the intention of Unite Estate for control oil reserves in Mexico, Venezuela, Iraq, so when in the film arise the scene in that China and India no want to reduce his emission, I think that director want to we believe: “Why, why… if E.E.U.U. only want to save us, it is a good country”. Another think that don’t like about the movie is the stigmatize with the Sudamerican and centroamerican people, incapable of achieve agreement in his country for do a new world, more sustainable, is like E.E.U.U. was our dad, who teach us how we have to do the things. Not that I do not agree with renewable energy and with turn this world in one more sustainable, I just say that don’t like the role that takes E.E.U.U in this game.

1.  I think that was interesting the idea of cover the earth with a gas that can help to the global warming, I don’t understood how can be possible.

 

 

2. I believe that is very good that there was a web site with information about the movie and climatic change, the people can follow inform-self.

 

 

 

3. In the movie, appear a lot the use of clean energy, and that is good, because the people that will see it, will know the alternative to oil and will think that a new world is possible

 

My Vacation

My Vacation

Sargazo lake

Hi everybody, the class start again, and I hope that you all has enjoyed the summer….for my part y have many stories for tell us. Me and and Mariana (my travel companion) decided backpack 
 to the south, and like the money doesn't appear in the trees we have to work and every day we wake up early in the morning and were doing fruit ice cube, then we sold it in the ferias meanwhile we should: RICOS LOS CUBOS HELADOS A DOSCIENTOS …

Well, after meet with sore throat, finally we could get the money and January 25 we started the travel to our first destiny: Isla Mocha. We carry to Tirúa early in the morning, it is a beautiful town, the people so love, and even a family invited us to lunch and passes one night with them. However, we can’t cross to Isla Mocha because there isn’t launch service to traverse to the island. It was a shame, we had really wanted us to know it…..but the journey continuous and we met many places and people, we went to Chiloe, Puerto Montt, Lago de todos los Santos in Puerto Varas and in some places more. If you want an advice, I have to recommend us, go to National park "Alerce Andino” three Hours of Puerto Montt , to the east. The Park is amazing, has beautiful and big woodland, and after walk many hours we arrive to beautiful lakes hidden in the middle in the mountains. Me and Mariana stumbled with a Chucao meanwhile we walk to the lake, who accompanied us all the way, according the Mapuche mythology this bird brings good news to the young that are traveling….and so was, because despite that sometimes the situation is self-conscious always some help  to us.
